皇家隊王建民因右肱二頭肌肌腱炎進入傷兵名單，不過建仔今天表示他已投了兩次牛棚，手臂的感覺相當好。不過王建民何時能復出，皇家隊還沒有公布。
王建民8月底因傷進入了傷兵名單，經過這段時間的復健，傷勢狀況已經好轉，投兩次牛棚之後都沒有大礙，建仔原本今天賽前要擔任打擊練習的餵球投手，但因賽前的一場雨而取消。
王建民本季從開季就一直待在25人名單中，擔任牛棚投手，出賽38場，投53.1局，戰績6勝0敗、防禦率4.22。
皇家隊本季戰績不佳，今天4比7輸白襪隊，苦吞5連敗，目前74勝73敗，在美國聯盟中區排名第三，要晉級季後賽的機會愈來愈小，就看球季賽最後階段，建仔是否還有機會上場投球。
